Thanks to the partnership between the APT and Spirit of 67 Foundation, on September 26th, 2016 DPM students attended the American Eagle Productions performance of The Great American Challenge Presidential Game Show. Modeled after "Family Feud", this exciting show used teams of contestants from the audience to answer questions about the presidential election and general social studies. All questions were grade appropriate and teacher tested. This genre is especially relevant given the election year and is an engaging way to present this timely historical event. |

Family Game Night - Friday, Jan 22 - A salute to our veterans.
The Emotional Wellness Committee would like to thank everyone who helped make Family Game Night a huge success! We are excited to announce that we raised $1885! From that total, we are able to sponsor 2 Honor Flights this Spring. Additionally, we have a closet full of goods to donate to the VA Hospitals, along with beautiful handmade Valentines and a check for $435. The Emotional Wellness Committee will be selecting a group of students to deliver the donations to the James A. Lovell VA Hospital during the week of Feb 15, which just so happens to be National Hospitalized Veterans Week. We feel an enormous amount of pride knowing that the efforts of DPM students, families and staff will be making a substantial impact on the lives of local veterans. Thanks again for your support!
